Vichy is a French dermocosmetic brand created in 1931 by Dr. Prosper Haller, the doctor who headed the thermal center in Vichy and the first to transfer the healing properties of the local water into cosmetics. We also owe to him things that we take for granted today: care selected according to skin type, the first serum sold in a pharmacy, and advice guides for women.
Water, which is the basis of everything. Vichy thermal mineral water springs from the protected volcanic region of Auvergne in central France. Before it reaches the surface, it travels for millennia at depths of up to 4,000 meters and is enriched with 15 minerals and trace elements. It is this water that is the main active ingredient in the brand's products.
Developed where it springs. Formulas are created and tested in Vichy Laboratories, steps from the source.
